Recertification of Employment

To be eligible for the program, applicants must have been employed for at least 10 consecutive years by a public-interest employer such as a government agency or non-profit. Also, they must make a qualified loan payments during this time. The submission of the PSLF form to recertify employment requires you to send the form to MOHELA. MOHELA will review it and notify you of the number of qualifying payments you’ve made.
The PSLF form should be filled out every year or when you change jobs. This will make sure that you qualify to participate in the program.
