PSLF Enrollment Certification Form – The PSLF form allows you to submit to the Social Security Administration (or the IRS) all payments you make in order to pay for pension or other benefits. It’s easy to complete and will help you save time as well as cash. It has several sections. Payments that are PSLF compliant

If you were granted these loans prior to January 1st, 2013, the payments will be counted towards PSLF. Before January 1 2013, only federal student loans through the Federal Family Education Loan Program could be considered for PSLF.
PSLF the eligibility for PSLF is technically feasible in Direct Parent PLUS Loans, provided that the parent is employed in a qualified job. Parental benefits are not available through PSLF are not available in the event that the Direct Parent Plus Loan can’t be converted to a Federal Direct Consolidation Loan.
Recertification of employment
The PSLF loan forgiveness program requires you to have renewed your certification of employment. The program demands that borrowers are employed by a public agency or nonprofit for at least a years in order to be qualified. In addition, they must make 120 loan qualifying payments during the period. In order to recertify your employment with the PSLF form, you have to provide it to MOHELA. They will go through it and tell you how many qualifying loans payments were completed.
Every year, or when your job is changed, you must complete your PSLF Form. This will allow you to be eligible for this program. MOHELA will then transfer the loan. Once you submit the form the documents supporting your claim that prove you’re still working should be submitted.
The PSLF employment certification form requires you to provide details about yourself, like your name, Social Security number, date of birth along with your address, telephone number and email address. You are also asked to confirm any changes to the data by checking a box. After you’ve completed the form, it is necessary to check the legal acknowledgment box. This will ensure that the information is correct. Finally, you have to sign and date the PSLF employment certification form, which will be sent to the Department of Education.
You can recertify your employment status using the PSLF form, provided you work in a qualifying public service or agency. This form can affect your PSLF payment or late partial payment or lump sum payment. If you’re employed by either a public or private company, you’ll have to complete the PSLF application before the due date to qualify for PSLF.
