Recertifying employment
An essential step to apply to be eligible for PSLF loan forgiveness program is the recertification of employment using the PSLF form. The program requires that borrowers were employed by a public agency or non-profit for at least 10 years to be qualified. Furthermore, they need to have made at minimum 120 eligible loan repayments in this period. Recertifying employment on PSLF form is to submit it to MOHELA who will then review it and inform the borrower know the number of qualifying loan repayments they’ve made.
